Can anyone modify the Sabertooth 990FX 2.0 BIOS to allow core unlocking?

I will pay £10 to anyone that can do it. It's not a lot I know but I'm poor lol.
Asus are being elusive in whether or not they removed it or just forgot to include it. My hope is that it is still available but locked out.
Anyone that could re-enable the feature would make me very very happy.

The R.2.0 does not have the Unlock feature. Only the R1.0 does.

Thanks. But I have tried every BIOS revision. None of them have the Unlocking feature. I have contacted Asus about the issue and they have stalled twice and not offered a response. They say they have passed the question on to the relevant department. My assumption is that it has been intentionally disabled in the BIOS which is why I wondered if it could still be activated. The eeprom may well still be capable of unlocking but just needs a few code tweaks to the BIOS. I'm not clever enough to do that though.

Are you 100% sure? All 990FX Motherboards will have the unlock feature, even the Crosshair V has it, It's called ASUS Core Unlocker, something like that, It was under CPU Core Options.

Yes I'm sure. On the Sabertooth 990fx R2.0 the core unlock option is missing from the BIOS.

The R1 has the unlock feature and it works well. The R2.0 only allows you to disable factory cores.

Well that's a shame frown.gif. This information needs to be shared. I bought the board needing the unlock feature.
I think Asus should really let people know that it has been removed.

Thanks for the reply.
