3570K Realtemp Temps

Thread Starter
Hi all,

I have just installed my old Xigmatek HDT- S1283 on my new 3570K (ASRock z77 Extreme 4), and I am not sure about my temps. I would just re-seat the heat sink and try again, but this is a 45 minute ordeal as I ghetto-rigged it to my mobo with bolts and washers (The old 775 clips broke). I have tried to research this online, but everyone just posts random temps from different programs, which can vary by 10 degrees or more. I was hoping to find what others are getting using Realtemp.

Without overclock, and my room at about 67 F, after about 30 min of Prime 95 my REALTEMPS are:
62 60 58 57 (Current)
65 64 61 59 (Max values)

I plan to try to overclock this a bit, so I need to know what others are getting on AIR in Realtemp using various coolers (including stock) so I can figure out whether or not I need to take everything apart again.

Thank you everyone, I really appreciate it.

I was gonna post my temps but then realized I've never run P95 for 30 mins. Those temps seem solid, though. I almost curious to P95 now but I've recently taken a vow against stress testing.

Ambient temp in my room is about 22 degrees celsius, and I have my 3570k OCd @ 4.5ghz cooled by a CNPSX14 . My idles are 30-35 celsius and under load can sometimes get to about 65-68. Thats with Prime95 @ 100%.

Nice. I use Intel Burn Test for quick stability tests. It gets temps much higher than prime95. It is the end all. LOL

I just put a new rig together with the same CPU. I'm currently running @ stock Turbo speeds slightly undervolted (1.096v VCore / 1.50v PLL) with the following temps:

That's with a Hyper 212 EVO with the fan running @ ~50%. I'm trying to find the lowest voltage it can handle at stock, and then I'm going to start OCing.
