PSU fan issue/concern

Thread Starter 
The current PSU I'm using, the fan only spins when it first starts up. That worries me seeing as I never see the fan spinnng other than on power up. The PSU is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139021

Any input would be great!

Some psu's have a feature like that. Only start the fan after %20 load or a specific temp. Rig Details ?

Some PSU turn the fan off completely when active cooling is not needed. Are you sure the fan does not start to spin when the system is under heavy load? Also what are your specs? If you are running system that draws very little power then you might need to run something very heavy like prime95 to load that 750W PSU enough to need active cooling.

Well the specs say

My guess is that it isn't getting hot enough to kick in. Though if you ran something like OCCT I would expect it to turn on. Run a good stress test and if it doesn't come on I would ask Corsair about an RMA
