Get an ASUS , the MSI's are not great for OC'ing and also even at stock speeds, ASUS excel over any other brand for Intel systems.
For example, get the Asus P5B-E, P965, Socket-775, ATX, GbLAN, SATAII, Firewire, PCI-Ex16 instead. That's going to be better than the MSI for sure.

Also for RAM, ditch the Corsair, they're not as good as they used to, so I'll recommend the OCZ Platinum PC2-6400 EL XTC 2048MB Kit, DDR2, 240 Pin, 800Mhz (4-5-4-15), and those have better timings.

i made an AMD version aswell, that would have SLI support,

* 327520 AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.6GHz Socket AM2 1MB, BOXED w/fan
* 321028 Corsair TWIN2X 6400C4 DDR2, 2048MB CL4, Kit w/two 1GB Dimm's, E.P.P Technology
* 325488 Gainward GeForce 7950GT 512MB,1,4ns DDR3 ,PCI-Express, "BP7950GT-512-TV-DD"
* 322113 Gigabyte GA-M59SLI-S5,nForce 590 SLI,ATX ,Socket-AM2,GbLAN,DDR2,Firew, 2xPCI-Ex16
* 308883 Tagan 2force 480W, Dual Fan, 4xSATA, ATX/EPS, SLI, 20/24pin
* 309535 Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB SATA2 16MB 7200RPM
* 320535 XION II BLACK PEARL W/green led, X Factor metallic design (without PSU)

how would this compare to the conroe one
