[Build Log] "Not Quite White" - Watercooled Prodigy - 3570k - GTX 670 - Page 6

Nice dude. Deliding certainly not needed but as for overclocking it is so damn easy with these chips you may as well give it a shot. I have same board too and decided to start with 1.18v and made it up to multi 44 before began to get unstable. Some will do 4.5 with under 1.2 though.

I'm only gonna overclock if I'm comfortable with the temps. I'm gonna have a single 240mm radiator cooling two or three blocks, so the purpose of the watercooling is more for the aesthetics and low noise.

So I bought a can of spray paint (Rustoleum black epoxy), taped up the cut side panel, and painted a ~1cm solid black border around the window to cover up the scratched paint from the cut. I'd show it off, but the lines came out absolutely horrendous and now I need to wait awhile before I can attempt a second coat (I'll have to extend the border to 1.3ish cm most likely).

Good news is I'm in the market for a radiator -- I'll probably grab an EX240 for cheap or look on the OCN Marketplace for something good.

I just took advantage of Danger Den's 75%-off fire sale and bought 11 feet of clear PVC tubing, a tube cutter, and a fill port for less than $7... (plus shipping). I might not use any of it, but I figured, "Why not?" The sale ends Monday if you want to scoop up whatever's left in stock.

I just went to order 30 feet of tubing myself, but USPS quoted $38 for shipping.. no thanks!

Sorry about the lack of updates -- I've been a bit busy and, frankly, disheartened at seeing the 24-pin go so miserably as well as the paint on the side panel. I'll pick things up soon after I'm done with two other computers I'm building for friends and family.

Your build looks great so far. Kudos to you! I love ITX and Mirco ATX builds

Not a problem at all.. I thoroughly enjoy these builds that are in progress rather than getting in on the end of the build.
