Just wondering what the latest is with your support ticket with Corsair. Hope your getting better customer service than I've been getting.

Got another update. Corsair went back over my revised ticket after I submitted another one. They sent me a damage claim form, FYI it went to my GMail spam folder. It includes a a *.docx asking for part/serial numbers of their products and any non-corsair products damaged as a result. Also asks for summary of incident, photos, testing done. The disconcerting part is where it talks about component compensation.

Corsair will compensate up to the amounts below for damages to the following items:
a) Motherboard - $100
b) CPU - $200
c) Videocard - $150

My video card was $549 and since they were a limited edition I'm going to be pretty much out of luck getting a new one to bring back my dual SLI setup. In the least I hope they will come through with a an amount capable of purchasing a card of similar stature, but we shall see. I don't know if this is negotiable but I'll certainly push the issue.

All in all I don't regret the purchase ..yet lol. Sure its a gimmick item compared to custom built water solutions but I wouldn't necessarily rule it out for another mid-range build. In the end you have to accept the possibility of loss if you're willing to put water inside of your computer lol.

Yes, nothing good though. They sent me a message on Sept 25 saying to expect a return shipping label. After 1 week with no word I replied asking where it was. I just got the shipping label this afternoon.

They are asking me to send in the H100 and my video card, and once again mentioned their maximum compensation for damages. Seeing as how they would potentially only cover up to $150 on my $600 card I'm only going to send in the H100. I don't know what I'll do with my card but the thought of sending it in knowing they wont cover it in full just irritates me. I'd rather send it back to the manufacturer MSI and see if it can be serviced.

Wait time is about what I expected it to be. Its been 4 weeks and 2 days since I sent in my first support ticket. All in all this isn't the best customer service I've experienced but it is far from the worst.

Hmmmm. Hope it goes well for you. Have to say (regardless of what the official rates are) these latest H100 and to a lesser degree the H80 seem far less robust and more prone to leaks/pump grinding. Imho they should just seek another OEM as whoever is making these i would say is tarnishing Corsairs name with these models. I hope you get what you want and don't be convinced to go for someother product. If you want the GPU replacing stick at it.

Thanx.

Cpu/mb prices see about Fair.. 150$ for your GTx 580 is not however.. They should replace it with the Gtx 600 series = or better to it which would be what the GTx 660ti?

Contact CorsairGeroge. If the H100 damaged some of your components, corsair has been pretty good at fixing the issue and even giving compinsation for the damaged parts.

pull the cards and check for liquid in the sockets, if there is, let it dry overnight and clean the contacts on the cards, replace and try again, also check your cpu socket incase.

Not so. The guy at www.overclock.net/t/1300669/corsair-h100-leaked-onto-my-brand-new-graphics-card-and-motherboard/ got full compensation, and so did I when their PSU wrecked my motherboard recently.

Anyone having parts damaged due to a defective product ought, in my opinion, to accept nothing less than full compensation.
