Don't consider advertising, engine licensing (they're cooperating with Crytek to make Cryengine 4, likely wipes out their license fee for it), don't consider non-essential staff (ie legal team the size of a small town), don't consider lore licensing, no outsourcing other than mocap, voice acting, and music. Don't consider investors that will be taking anything off the top. Then don't consider a massive team rushing the game to finish.
They're sitting around 16 Million, the 10 million was conditional on a 2 million crowdsource.
Small, experienced, cohesive team can easily do this project in 2 years.
