I'm a DosBox junkie!

All the games already mentioned plus all the old Microprose games!!! I LOVED Darklands. Probably one of the greatest RPG's ever made.

Ohh..and how can I forget the Ultimas!!! Ultima VII is still a great game today!! If you missed it; it's a MUST PLAY!

I just recently dusted off my Saitek AV8R-01 joystick and loaded up IL-2 Sturmovik. I've been playing IL-2 Sturmovik and Pacific Fighters with it, I had forgotten how much fun, and frustrating, flying games are. Maybe if I want to make myself feel really dumb, I'll break out Falcon 4.0. I don't think I ever made it off the tarmac in that one.

Oh wow, I am super excited for this! Best news I've heard in a long time.
To quote some random commenter on the ARS article on this:

I tried to replay XWA a couple years ago and it didn't play nice with my modern 3D card. If you figure out a workaround let me know. Basically graphic corruption and unreadable text. Was not able to find a solution, but to be fair that was a couple years ago.

Pretty sure I was rocking that one out on my Voodoo 2 SLI rig back in 98.

If you head over to the forums you'll see people clamoring for even a crumb of information yet the devs continue with their silence. The game was supposed to come out in 2012 but that looks highly unlikely with the Gamescon no-show.

They just posted a nice, long, poorly translated interview about it on Monday. Sounds like they're still very eager and motivated to get the thing out the door.

I'm hoping they're spending the extra time polishing the UI and not repeating the unholy atrocity that was the X2 cutscenes.

Yes I saw that, took forever to translate but its made my outlook more positive. Seems like they keep adding things to the game and are unsure where to draw the line, hopefully we'll see it released within the next year.
