OK so when I first saw my rig in the pawnshop it was the case that caught my attention , my husbands reaction was essentially .WHY???? he's not much of a computer geek as I am , he's the I hate pc's I prefer Hard labor type guy , 225 for an AMD 6400+ with 512 ram (pawnshop owner apparently jacked the ram out of it when he acquired it) on a M2N-E motherboard 500 gig HDD , 8400gt and dual dvd burners in a thermal take v8003 armor case. It looked so pretty , so I bought it , and bought 2x 2gig sticks of XMS and a 9800gt for 40 bucks tossed em in and threw in my old sound blaster audigy platinum ex
Over time it seemed ok but I thought the video card was lacking so I went to the 5870HD but unfortunately the m2n-E mobo didn't like ati cards and I added another monitor
So I swapped it out for the gtx460 equivalent
Was still having issues with speed So i decided its time to upgrade to the 955be with a m5a97 with 8 gigs of ram and added a 1tb hdd
so now it sits at
the 955be on a m5a97 board 8 gigs ram with 250 , 500 and a 1tb hdd with a gtx 460(being swapped for 560gtx in 2 weeks)
the 560 fell though so I got a Bluray rom instead
Current Add to the system is a G.Skill 120gb SSD curtsey of Dixon01974 and I moved up from the 768mb 460 to a 1 gb XFX6870 and I swapped out my monitor after the secondary one died to a Flatron E2251 21.5 inch Led Monitor
added a mouse pad that save love in japanese and a R.A.T 3 mouse ^_^
now I need to know what can I do to make more improvements ,
Idea .. suggestions will be appreciated and will be utilized if I can, also keep in mind I'm on disability so I don't get very much to work with
