Start-programs in order?

Is there any way i can sort the files in start-programs so it shows in alphabetical order?

Right click on the menu and hit sort by name.

It doesn't have that option in the menu, i already sorted by name in the folder where the files are stored but that only sorts them in that folder and not in the programs menu

If you're talking about the start>all programs folder than right clicking should work. If you're talking about the "quick start" portion of the start menu (the one's above the all programs button, then you can't sort them by name. They're there in order of use.

You can clear the list or pin programs there though.
To pin:
Right click the icon you want to pin and then click pin to start

to clear:
right click on the menu, not on any program. then click properties.
start menu tab> customize>general tab>clear

Ok, you have have "Enable dragging and dropping disabled". To enable it (so you can right click on the menu)
1.) Right Click on taskbar
2.) Click Properties
3.) Click the "Start menu" tab
4.) Click the top "Customize" button
5.) Click the "Advanced" tab
6.) In the "Start Menu Items:" box, place a "check" next to "Enable dragging and dropping".
7.) Now try to right click on the program lists and select "Sort By Name"
