Also as a person that grew up through the ages with video games,Coin-Op Arcades, Intelivision, Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis, Playstation, DreamCast, Xbox, Xbox 360, and PC's, I am surprised at the level of hand holding the industry does for gamers now a days..... I remember where you could overlook a games mechanics if the overall experience and it was fun. If your game doesn't play like Halo, can't be franchised like Call of Duty or Madden NFL whatever ( God I hate EA), show more blood than Eli Roth and Taratino (typo maybe) combined, or treats me like I still read Curious George for enjoyment for the first 6 hours of gameplay then it's a flop according to industry standards. How dare you make me try to figure your combat system and timing?

The original Metroid combat involved one button and the other button was jump but i remember playing for hours trying to figure what the hell am I supposed to do and loved it....Kung Fu was basically walking down a hallway kicking people in the face so you could walk upstairs but God I loved that game. Castlevania II just dropped you off in a town and told you when it was getting dark. I guess I'm dating myself.

Now get off my damn lawn and come in here and change the channel. No the top knob stupid! Change it to channel 3 so I can play my game.

Some people could find the entertainment and fun in sharpening ten thousand pencils. Or running their finger nails down a chalkboard. It's subjective and most don't really enjoy having to work or figure out a dodgy combat system in a video game. If I didn't have to fight the dang camera so much, I might be willing to spend more time trying to figure out the nuances of the combat system. Regardless, I still won't find it "fun" or satisfying. Maybe they'll refine it in a sequel so we can see their true vision for it. I'm using the xbox 360 pad so I don't know how the kb/m handles it.

yeah its customers fault not the developers :/
i had no problem with setting combos but its no sleeping dogs and i hated that fighting originally too

Put that on next gen hardware with this level of artistic talent and you've got a winner.
i hated those mixers ...

anyway i am mad as hell on remember me, first the stupid combos that i could somehow muster and then final straw remixing the scenes
ah it fell so great when i uninstalled that RSI game (as in repetitive strain injury game)

best
