Switching Case. Thoughts (Switch 810?)

Thread Starter
Looking for a new case. I have been entertaining the idea of switching to the switch 810. I would like to water cool more of my hardware. The setup that I have right now for WC is in my pictures also the hardware I have is as follows

2x 240 rads (alphacool and EK)
Koolance dual bay res with 655 pump (1 pump)
3/8x 5/8 bitspower fittings
EK Hf supreme waterblock

All other hardware is in sig. Anyone have any ideas for a good setup to cool cpu and gpu?

Other ideas include keeping the 600t getting a acrylic window for it and adding the 680 to the loop with either a 120 off the back or 200MM rad in the front. However I haven't done this because if I ever want to cool the motherboard or anything else Im pretty much capped out in rad space in this case.

Thanks I appreciate the help and Ideas

(edit) Im also up for changing out and adding some rads etc.. open to ideas!

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I want to find a case that can take a 420mm radiator with room for a second radiator of some size (240mm would be fine, but bigger is better). Supposedly, you should be able to fit a Black Ice GT Xtreme 420mm rad in the top. Interestingly enough, a 420mm radiator (140mm x 420mm) has just a bit more more surface area than a 480mm radiator (120mm x 480mm) (just under 2 inches squared larger). There is room at the bottom for a 240mm rad if your power supply isn't too long (avoid those 1250w PSUs).

I've been through tons of cases looking for one that would be good for watercooling, and tit is really hard to find a case that covers everything that you might want. The Azzo Gensis 9000 is supposed to have room for a 480mm and 240mm rad, but it is enormous and has no side window. I suppose you could modify one of the side panels and put an acrylic window on it, but I don't have the ability to do something like that. I do like that you can reverse the motherboard tray, though. The only other cases are either limited to a max of 240mm radiators or are over $500USD.

While I have the know-how to modify a case if need be, I had an accident that partially paralysed my left hand and ruined any chances of building a custom case for a decent watercooling system. The Switch 810 is looking like the best choice under $500 for radiator surface area. Of course, there are only one or two 420mm radiators that fit the Switch 810 without modification because of the fan-to-fan spacing of the 140mm fan mounting holes on the case. From what I've read, the case has 20mm fan spacing, and the only radiators that have that spacing are the Black Ice models. I don't mind as long as I can find some way of fitting a 420 or 480 into some case somewhere, and it seems the Switch 810 is the only one that looks decent in my price range.

I saw the SM8 from case labs at 350-400$ I can't justify it with the 810 at 150$. Could use the extra cash for bocks or towards my second gpu. I already have 2x 240mm rads but would probably get a 360 up top and put in cpu loop until i get a second 680 and then wc the rest. Thought about doing the motherboard as well. 360+240 should be plenty for my needs.

I was thinking I could route the 810 like this

either one of these options one being the black ice with the in and out on opposite sides the other just a alphacool or Ek 360

Anyone have any better ideas?
