If it is an upgrade, then I don't it is reusable.

is XP currently on the machine?

If you already have the Home edition and don't find your self on a Domain network all that much I wouldn't bother with the upgrade. Pro isn't going to get you anything.

If you have XP you have to do a clean install. You can't upgrade from XP to 7. (note you can upgrade the license, but not use the upgrade install method)

Yes you can install it on as many computers as you want as long as it's only on one. Also, you can in fact do a clean full install with the upgrade disk so you do not need to have anything already installed before hand. Just install it like you would a full install and then install it a second time as an upgrade to activate it. I have done this many times if you have questions just PM me. thumb.gif

It's reusable. You can even do a custom install without an older O.S. present on the computer. Check: http://www.winsupersite.com/article/windows-7/clean-install-windows-7-with-upgrade-media-128512
