cant install Nvidia drivers

hey guys actually i have sold my gtx 580 but by mistake forgot to uninstall the drivers when i sold them so what happened is i sold one and just took it out of the system and then uninstalled only 1 card but now the driver is not installing.It just stops after 1 sec.

I have no clue what to do please some1 help me

Try removing all old drivers, and then install the new ones.

Have you tried doing a restart before you install the drivers?

ya i did also does the slot matter once the card has been removed i mean i removed the top card earlier and this was in my 4th slot so after the 1st install failed i shifted this card to 1st slot would it make any differnec?

UPDATE: well nothing worked so i have restored windows on a back date so now the drivers r thr and all but the problem is performance in desktop n games is not that good i mean the screen is not as crisp as before some help please?
