So when is the poll gonna happen? Halloween?
I thought the point of having three editors was to eliminate these long periods of nothing.
Guess I was wrong.

Kevin is probably still training them, you don't get perfect staff right outta the newbie barrel. They are human afterall.

I would appreciate a nomination greatly, and a win even more in this awesome group of builds. I say this because as stated I'm on a very tight budget if any of one, and really want to start myself a custom water cooling loop. The winnings could get me started for sure biggrin.gif

Guess I was wrong.

First off, we dont have three editors, we have two newbies who are trying to learn from an old editor who only comes on every 4 days. It will get better over time.

First of all, I had to make a trip to Iowa for a few days for a family issue, since my grandparents pride themselves in living in the middle of nowhere, they have no internet. This makes it kind of hard to run a competition. Please forgive me.

Heres the deal, since all this coordination/getting approval etc has slowed this competition down so much that we are close to not even having a competition this month. Im just going to take the reigns and if they dont like it then we can work it out later.

Someone told us the minimum number of noms was 4, so since we only had three confirmed, then we thought there could be no comp until next month. Now that we have had some others come forward who want to participate, here is what I am going to do. I have pmd the two who wanted to enter this month: KarLiToS and InsideJob. The plan is that instead of ending noms on the 22nd, we will end them at the end of the month (aka tomorrow), then put the poll up on the 1st of october. Yes this may not be ideal, but it is what has to happen. Hopefully those two PM back today or tomorrow so they can be entered this month. I will also be PMing those who are confirmed to see what pictures they would like on the first page of the thread. If they dont PM back, I will choose them from the thread. The poll will go up the first if we get at least one more nom in. I am hoping they do.

To all those who have been complaining about the timeliness of the contest, crappy staff, new editors etc, I understand. I have been in your shoes, and have gotten angry when what I perceive as "lazy" editors not doing their job. I* apologize, we are working out the kinks and are still learning how to work this volunteer position into our schedules effectively. It will get better over time. I think we can all work together to keep this competition going strong. Thanks smile.gif
