Is your GX the Bronze series?

If so, then I recommend that you keep it.  Otherwise, a new PSU will be needed.

If it's the "Bronze Series" line of the GX series, then you'll know because it'll be the GX Bronze Series.

However, if it has a white 80 Plus logo, then it's not and that means we should replace it with a higher quality 550-650W power supply because the plain GX series were a low-quality line of PSUs and a quality 550-650W power supply would be plenty.

I see that you live in Montevideo:  are there any online stores that  you can use?  If so, then can you link me to these stores?  If the stores don't have English, then I'd need to be linked to the power supplies sections.  redface.gif

Then it probably needs replacing, the older GX series is junk. Any (quality) PSU in the 550-600 watt range would be good for your system.

Oh, 3 is definitely enough.  Thank you!  Also, I thank you for linking directly to the PSUs!

I forgot to ask one more question:  how much can you spend on the new PSU?

No limit, a good quality PSU is worth it. I just dont want to buy more than I really need.

I provided 3 sites because there are not many options in them

EDIT: Forgot to mention, you need to add on first site 22% to it prices due to taxes.

You're right, the options are very limited.  The only ones I can find that I feel confident recommending are these:

Personally, my choice would be the 620W Antec High Current Gamer M Series because it is a high quality unit that has enough power and it's modular.

I was expecting to make a longer list.  lol  :)  At least they have some good PSUs!  The other two stores didn't even seem worth looking at in comparison!

22%?  Wow.  Then I'd get the 620W Antec High Current Gamer M Series from here:  http://www.banifox.com/Fuentes/Antec-HCG-620/flypage.tpl.html
