New CPU POT: the MONSTA (STEEL+COOPER)

Thread Starter
Ok, I've made my second CPU pot, codname MONSTA. Somenthing really new, its a full STEEL body and a cooper base. Since everyone was taking about the DOZZI look like F1EE, this is the one. There is a LOT to do on it, I'll make some holes on the steel body and the cooper wil project itself up, acctually it have ~9kg of steel and 300g of cooper, my inttention is 7kg of steel and 500g of cooper. I'll test it with dice and LN2, if the results dont be good Ill make the same shape on alu/bronze smile.gif

Not exactly sure what the idea is behind having all that steel but aren't you worried about breaking the PCB?

The reason is that i didn't pay anything for it smile.gif In the end it will be way lighter.

Are you going to smuggle plutonium with it? Since you're at it, why not add fins inside to increase the area of contact between the cooling medium and the heatsink?

O.D is Outer Diameter.

Also thats a small amount of copper with a very low surface area.

I'll reduce as much as I can the steel, and in the end, if it doesn't scale so well i'll make a alu body.

Now i'm pretty busy with school and solving the problems with the gpu pot...Soon the monsta will be updated.
