H100 and Re-seating

This is basically me telling you my success story with my re-seat. Thanks to all the guys who helped me on this. I re-seated using the Noctua NT-H1 TIM and prior to the re-seat my temps reached 85C max and it was just awful. Now, temps are amazing. On the same clock and temps are so much lower.

My new temps during folding. tongue.gif

I know it may seem extremely high for a 25C drop but I suspect it to be due to a really bad seat.

This is at 4.6 and as you can see my idle temps got a bit higher because I turned on the heater. It's so chilly right now. frown.gif I'm wearing my sweat pants. Anyway, tomorrow I will post a screenshot at 4.8 when my ambients are a bit cooler. It went from like 65F to like 70 - 80F in here. I love this heater. tongue.gif

Nice. Is that running at 3.8ghz like the screenshot says or 4.8ghz like your sig? Either way with those temps you have some headroom to go higher, so push it more and get some MOAR PPD!

Hopefully it didn't clock down because it's throttling that would be a bummer!

Doesn't seem like it, the max temps were like 60C and if it throttled then, then I would RMA my H100 or demand a full refund!
