Yes, this has been brought to my attention smile.gif And thank you all for the help you've given me. I currently have the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 in my cart on Newegg, and am searching for a big ol' cpu fan as well.

Hey just read this thread.. I currently have a 990ud3 with a phenom II 1090t as well. Mines stable at 3.8 GHz with 2800 NB. Kept getting rounding errors anything close to 4.0 but I'm happy with the results, I have 8 GB of 1600mgh ram t1-9-9-9-25. Its a nice board.. used it for 2 of my others friends builds as well only problem i see with it is the vdroop when at higher clocks but its still very capable and works well with crossfire and sli configurations. Here are the voltages to kind of compare to when you get your board...

cpuvcore- 1.475( + from 1.45 because of rounding errors in prime) My temps never see over 50 degrees under load, using a antec kuhler 620 in a push pull inside a storm trooper case with tons of fans.

nb- 1.25 for perfectly stable at 2800

ram- 1.55 but reads 1.5 in hw monitor, i believe its the board.

cpu/nb voltage + 2 notches cant remember exact voltage but ya hope this helps at all

Overall its a nice board may not hold voltages as well as say Ud7 but it fine for what we need and is 990fx platform, I say go for it.

And for more similarity haha I actually came from the same G45 MSI board..just threw it in another build i have cause im not overclocking with it. BUt ya a lot better!
