Personally i'm not a huge fan of the way Fractal cases look, although the R4 & Midi are probably the best out of the bunch.. & Their build quality isn't what its all hyped up to be.
I would go with the 500r. Has a MIR & a 10% promo code.. that's a steal. (I would go with the white & black one tho.. i'm a sucker for black & white themes redface.gif)

I'm glad I'm not the only one to think so. I had a ton of issues with my Arc Midi including stripped screws, tolerances being off thus requiring me to force components into place so I could anchor them (namely my sound and video card), a fan that arced in my case, a broken fan controller, a broken pedestal foot (which I'm still waiting for them to get back to me on a week later), and the rolled steel in the rear preventing me from using my mic in on my sound card and the top video out from my video card.

I think the R4 is probably a little nicer than the 500R, but Fractal Design's QC is seriously lacking and they're hard to contact. Corsair is probably better just because you know it should go through higher QC and they'll get back to you quickly should anything be messed up.
