Gtx 560 sli or 660Ti - Page 2

So you don't think I could get away with the 448s just because of its small vram? My single 24'' monitor runs fine on one. Wouldn't I get the same fps on three monitors with three cards? I don't think I want to spend $800 on two 670s.

The more monitors the more VRAM you need, especially as you crank the settings up. More VRAM is not just for epeen, if not there would be not real use for these absurdly high VRAM cards (2 GB+)

I am not sure if you could get away with it though. My 470's have never fed more than one monitor (23'' @ 2048x1156 @ 60 Hz), but in some games VRAM usage can get to 1.1 GB more or less (Metro 2033)

or
Sell the 560 and get a 660Ti?
Thanks
I ran 550tis on 3 monitors. It was great. You can play a good amount of games in high to mid but sadly no AA. You will be fine with with two 560s in sli for surround. Thought I dont think you will be maxing out anything really demanding.

Isn't the vram shared over the three cards? So it would have over 3.5gb. Would I really be able to use one 680 with three monitors if it had 4gb of vram? Might do that if that's the case.

No, VRAM is not shared. I have two GTX 470's, but i only have 1.25 GB VRAM. You might want to read this FAQ. It says it's for Xfire, but same basics apply to SLI.
