I still haven't had a chance to contact Stanford in regards to passkey based stats though.  It might be as simple mas having someone manually add me to a whitelist for pulling stats.

Absolutely 100% correct. No denying that fact.

You should build a 24/7 i5 3570k rig for TC wink.gif

The SB-E 3930k and 3960x are the only performance desktop chips I'm aware of that can do bigadv on a 16 core hack these days. They need 4.7+ GHz and some good RAM to complete p8101 on time though. I addressed July 30th for TC, but it's mainly what axipher and anubis1127 said. Stanford just stopped assigning them to 8 and 12 core/thread CPU's.
[/quote]
The chart at the top of this thread provided by BWG implied that the core hack was no longer in use. There is a line drawn on his graph and on one side it says "with core hack" and on the other side of the line it says "no core hack".I do not get it,is OCN still working the core hack?

All the corehack make your computer look like it has more cores so it can get bigger units.  The corehack still works in getting you bigger units, but you can't complete them on time so you have to remove the corehack to get units that you can actually fold on time for points.

There were a large number of i7 2600Ks that were using the core-hack in the OCN Team Competition, and some people using it on 2500Ks, and X6s, but those users are no longer able to. That's all his graph is indicating.

I thought the chart indicated a change of policy by OCN in regards to using the corehack. As BWG mentioned using the corehack was controversial.

EDIT: It did seem logical that a "State of the Union" thread would be the place to mention such a change in policy.
