Need Suggestions on New Build

New Setup plans

CPU chip-
E6300 - Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86 (I want to be able to OC it to 3.0 or somewhere around there more or less.)

Cooling-
I have looked into the ThermalTake CL-W0065 Silent Water
i have a buddy runing this watercooling system and it works well, but his is an AMD opteron. I need to know if this will fit on the e6300 since its saying it fits the 775. But if fancooling will be just as good or better let me know.

Mobo-
I need suggestions on a mobo.
I have seen a lot of ppl play around with DS3's but reviews look it DOA is a hit or a miss.
I have also looked into the ASUS p5b dlx, my old board was an ASUS and i have had really good luck with it. wats the huge dif between p5b dlx and reg?
Overall, i need a mobo that i can overclock the 1.86 to a possible 3.0 easily.

Ram-
I am outdated with the speed of ram and the timing of the ram, so please list brands and models that would go well with the mobo. I can either go with 1GB or 2GB, all depending on price. im willing to spend about 200 for ram. Ram all depends on which mobo i have heard.
I have also heard to overclock the cpu u need to slow down the ram, will slower ram be more stable?

Harddrive-
I want to get a SATAII hard drive. I want to have at least 160GB or more. for around 100 dollars. I looked into the Seagate Baracuda 7200 320GB,but reviews say it boots up really slow. I want something with a fast bootup.

Video-
Possibly an ATi radeon X1950 PRO. im looking for something with
GDDR3 memory and a 256-bit memory interface. doesnt matter if its ATi or not.

Power Supply-
Ultra ULT31852 X2 Xconnect 550W, enough power?

Case -
Reusing my ATX case

E6300 $184

ASUS P5B $135

Crucial Technology 2GB $230
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148017

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (Perpendicular Recording) 250GB OEM $75

SAPPHIRE X1950PRO $200

PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610 $170
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817703005

The difference between the deluxe and the normal P5B seems to be raid support

Don't get the silent water, they aren't really any good

RAM depends all on the RAM, not the mobo

CPU chip - E6300 Good choice

Cooling - I leave this to the waterboys. Generally, those kinds of kits aren't that good. I'd probably look for a high-end air cooler like the Tuniq Tower

Mobo - either the DS3 or the P5B Deluxe should be fine. The P5B Deluxe is the better board, and has some extra features, like RAID over the southbridge (DS3 only has RAID on the secondary controller over the PCI-Bus), and a second PCI-E x16 slot (yes, even crossfire will run, although at x16, x4 speeds)

Ram - Although it's 'only' rated as DDR2 667, this RAM overclocks very very good. Should reach over DDR2 900 speeds fairly easily, since it uses the same chips as high-end DDR2 800 stuff. It's a little more than you planned at $230, but worth it. Save some money on the hard drives.

Harddrive- Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB $74.99 or Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (Perpendicular Recording) 250GB $74.99.

Video - The X1950PRO is a good choice for the money at the moment. It's the one I'd get.

Power Supply - yeah, enough power... but's an Ultra Not the best brand. If it served you well in your old rig (make sure the voltages are stable, Ultra's are known to overvolt a bit) then it should be fine. If you buy new, I'd get something like a SILVERSTONE SST-ST50EF for &87.50

Case - ok

Boredom: good ones! In this case I disagree with the Silencer though... this is more like a budget rig, and the silencer takes up too much a portion of that budget, while all that power is not needed. The Silverstone will handle this with ease. Also, I'd pick the DS3 over the P5B 'vanilla'
