I was just thinking the same. An C-60 or E-450 in 4''x4'' format would sort of fulfill the same "niche" in the market. Weaker CPU but a bit stronger GPU, which, in my opinion, would give the AMD offering a slight advantage in the uses for what this thing seems to be aimed at (ie., car computer or being duct taped behind a display for a "general net browsing computer"). Should come a bit cheaper than the Intel's system as well, considering that the cheapest laptops with these parts from AMD go for approx 250 Eur.

If the price would be the sole deciding factor .. then .. well ...

That thing was 31 euros with shipping (plus ~ 1 euro for radiators). An 1 GHz ARM chip plus MALI 400 GPU, 1GB DDR3 RAM, HDMI port, 2x USB 2.0 ports, SD card slot, 4 GB internal flash, WiFi and small 5V, 1.5A power input (so altogehter max 7.5W). Decent enough to play 1080p YouTube or act as a small torrent box if you attach it into a external USB hard disk. Downside is ofc that this is not x86 but it's supposed to be able to run Ubuntu wink.gif Also runs a bit on the hot side, that's why the heatsink mod.

Add in a 2.5 HDD and a dual core processor exceeding 1.2ghz in clock speed and I am sold, sold, sold. Passive cooling too? Dare I be so foolish as to dream?
