I've been using Chrome on iOs for the last day, or trying to. It just feels much slower than Safari to me... The only appeal is the built in Google synchronisation stuff with my desktop and tablet.

It is slower than Safari. Apple dumbed it down to say the least.

Really? What device are you on? It seems really zippy on my 5 and iPad 2. The only thing its missing IMO is lack of home screen bookmarking.

iPhone 5 I'm on. It seems faster for bloated pages like the ocn home page but for loading simpler stuff like Google search pages, Safari is definitely quicker for me and that's what most of my browsing is on mobile...

Safari is quicker on the iPhone. It's been proven. Google it.

IMO. I would wait till the next one. I currently have the 4S and I don't really see much of a difference. I have iOS6 installed, so its really similar. It just a bit better Hardware and LTE, but most of the time I'm near Wi-Fi, so its not really much of a difference. But I do like the screen size, but I just wish it was a bit wider to fit the Tallness of it lol. Just gonna wait till my upgrade is up instead of paying Retail. But that's just me. But I gotta give it to Apple tho, new style of Connector and a better placement of the 3.5mm jack.

It's a whole lot better than my iPhone 4. My iPhone 4 was getting sluggish and the home button was annoying to say the least. I'm even joking. It took maybe 10 clicks before it'd respond and it'd take forever to be able to double click! So annoying. I got Apple Care for my iPhone 5 and I think it's worth the price. Maybe from a 4S, you don't see it but my contract ended with my iPhone 4 and I sold it for $350 (unlocked) and I got a new contract for only $180 so I'm good. Not like I'm gonna be moving away from ATT or upgrade anytime soon. I usually skip 1 or 2 gens before I upgrade.

Of course you're going to feel a whole lots of difference. Don't get me wrong, I respect your opinion biggrin.gif But from my perspective from a 4S to iPhone 5, it not really a major upgrade. I figure it be worth my money to wait till the next iPhone (5G? LOL) release (If it have some major update or something). But overall, I love my iPhone and would never turn away, unless Apple does something dumb (Like using cheaper stuff to make the phone.)
