Appraisal: I7 990x

Thread Starter
Ok So I am thinking of getting rid of the CPU in my sig rig...I am contiplating on switching to a Ivy Bridge machine. All I would have to do is buy a new CPU and Mobo...but first before I do that..I want to see what I could potentially get back from what I currently have.

This 990x has always been under my Noctua cooler and reaches around 70-75C when folding at 4.4GHZ.

I run it at 4.4 daily without any issues at all...I have hit 5.0 before, however never tested its stability...

I bought this thing about a year ago......
