Strange spot on monitor

Thread Starter
So I recently noticed a spot on my monitor recently (well display, it's a laptop), and it's too big to be a pixel, so does anyone have any idea what it is or how to get rid of it?

Bad magnet is bad?!

Could be a few things. A few pixels did go out. Or even the light behind the lcd screen went bad. Might have even bumped it and cause it to go bad.
But I prefer. Bad magnet monster go OM NOM NOM!

It actually could seem that the light behind went out, since everything on the screen is darker than it should be in that place. I didn't think that was how screens worked.
