Hey guys. Building a Home Server in the next week or so. I won't need much power, but budget is key. The home server will consist of:
AMD Phenom II x6 1045t ($89.99)
ASRock 970DE3 AM3+ Mobo ($16.99 with CPU bundle deal)
Unsure of actual RAM kit, 8 gig's of 1333 most likely(good possiblity of 16 gig's total).
Starting with 2-3 drive's.
and what ever el cheapo GPU I can find(none gaming, low power draw)
If I'm not mistaken I should be able to get by with 350w-400w easy(accounting for future hard drive's, raid cards and cooling(a few San Ace 1011's). The PC will be ran 24/7 until it die's so I need the most quality unit I can get for cheap, $50 or less. I would prefer a PSU from my local MicroCenter(Overland Park, Kansas location), but could be talked into waiting for shipping from newegg or amazon. Right now I am looking at Antec Basiq 450w
Thank you for any and all suggestions.
