Split second lag (Audio and video). Happening every 10 to 60 seconds

Hello, I am hoping that you will be able to help me today.

I placed this in the intel thread as I was not sure where else I should put it, and having an intel chip I considered it would be the best place to put it.

The problem

Every 10 seconds to a minute I will get a split second lag spike. This has been happening for the past 3 days.

What happens is the display and sound freezes for around 0.1 - 0.7 of a second. This will happen completely randomly.

It will be when in the middle of a game, when watching YouTube or even when in a word document.
The CPU Doesn't spike in task manager and neither does the RAM.

What I have attempted

I have ran malwarebytes and Avast and neither have found and threats.
I have system restored to an earlier point in time.
I have cleared CMOS (Didn't think it would help but was worth a shot)
Set CPU clocks/freq/ volts etc... back to stock.

I have had a look at the windows event log and this may help answer the problem.

Thank you in advance for the help, and I look forward to hearing back.

Is your graphics card overheating maybe? See if you can force the fan to spin faster (With my card I use EVGA precision).

Any chance your page file is turned off?

My 670 is running at 33 C, so no it is not over heating.
I have not touched page file, and after checking it is all at default settings.

I did not update any bios or firmware, Neither with graphics card.

There may have been a windows update but I don't think so, although they happen regularly and I don't pay much attention.

Download DPC latency checker, I found my problem by just uninstalling mcafee antivirus program i was using.
Sometime it could be as simple as a bad program install that can cause that to happen or bad drivers.

Try turning aero off or setting the settings to "performance" for your theme
