PSU for build

Thread Starter
I was wondering what is the best size PSU for the following:

2 dual workstations GPUs
6 core AM3
16-gb RAM
4 2TB drives

900 watts overkill?? What is the least size you would put?? Also how much wattage does a 120mm fan take?? Reason why I ask that is because I do have a server with 8 fans in it.

Which workstation GPUs? That plays a huge role. However, 900W is probably overkill.

You can pretty much ignore the fans unless they're high-RPM server fans (>2500RPM)

At the top of my head I would say 650w-750w would be fine.

I also think a 750W would be alright, but a 850W or a 900W would at least give you some headroom, and not stress out the PSU constantly (which I think is important for a workstation)
