This is what it says on there website about the backplate -
"Re-use of EVGA factory provided backplate has not been foreseen. Please use M3x6 DIN7985 (not enclosed with EK-FC680 GTX FTW water block) screws or equivalent in order to re-attach the EVGA backplate."
Hopefully I can find those screws at Home Depot.

Just Ordered an EK GTX 680 FTW FC Waterblock from FrozenCPU.com And it should be here by the 3rd.
EK is such a great company for taking the time to design a waterblock for a small portion of the GPU market.
