Deathadder & Synapse 2.0 - Still bad?

Thread Starter

So I figured that i'd use my deathadder for awhile, and noticed that the drivers are now labelled as being ''Synapse 2.0''.
Are there still issues with this thing?

Please just dont say that it's bad, I'd like to know why.

Thank you.

EDIT : So this thing give me a small delay in CS GO. Uninstalling this sh**.

EDIT 2 : But now my mouse defaulted at 1800 CPI. Looks like I got the first world problem.

EDIT 3 : So I uninstalled synapse but my deathadder is still lagging in game, does anybody know why? wheee.gif

Look in the driver archives on the Razer website, the old driver is in there somewhere.

Why do I need to sign up for a stupid device driver? It's seriously idiotic. Anyway, before I found the archived driver I found that installing Synapse 2.0 gave me my first Windows 7 Blue Screen after reboot. Then I found that some of the customization was not very friendly compared to the old drivers. The mouse performed like it should but only at the original DPI settings given.

Pretty sure current synapse support is just a hold over as recalculation won't reach the same level of accuracy scaling off the native range of the ROM (Unless Razer wants to push a "firmware" update). 450 and 900 steps on the old driver are completely halved and previous sensitivity scaling worked in increments of 5-10%.

I wouldn't be surprised if they pushed a new model and left the software as is.

PS: Using synapse also takes away the ability to save polling and a specific DPI value to the onboard controller. Don't even see the point.
