I can't find it literally anywhere online in the US. Is it discontinued or.. what?

You sure that you didn't see that window as a case mod? I have an 690II advanced with all the extras and features and never saw any window options available.

The only thing close to a windowed version that I remember was the Nvidia version that had the geforce green eye as a window.

It is listed on CM's web store as out of stock. If they don't have any it is a fair bet that it is discontinued.

You can shoot them an e-mail to "store {at} coolermaster.com" and ask, can't hurt.

On the plus side it is quite easy to make a window provided you have basic tools and abilities.

Well I haven't ever modded a case, and if the side panel is that rare... what happens if I screw it up? Live with a half-chopped up side panel?

I just browsed CoolerMaster's website under the "Discontinued" section and I am sad to say that the CM 690 II entire case has been discontinued... for what reasons I have no idea.

I can only assume that means that the side panel has been as well... That also means there is no easy way I can buy a replacement.

I know they recently did a refresh to add USB 3 to the front panel, along with a few other minor tweaks like a larger CPU back plate cut out.

As far as I know the side panel remained the same though, so one of the new model ones should fit. Don't quote me on that though, add that question to your e-mail to CM.

Edit: Here is the left side panel for the 690II - $8. Can't argue with that.

The KKN2(usb2.0) was discontinued. The KKN5(usb 3.0) is available under products.

I just ordered a top panel for my CM 690 II Basic USB 2.0.

$13 to convert it into (almost) an Advanced with USB 3.0? Deal.

Shame the shipping was $20.

Wow, I'm quite surprised that I am the first one to review this monitor. I probably won't be able to get all technical with this review, but I would like to write out what makes this a great...

I remember the first time I set my eyes on the Silverstone TJ07. It was like looking A PC Tower that screamed quality and versatility! The case is very light, unlike other full tower cases. Thumbs...
