im pretty sure i have the same core and almost certain i have the same mem on it... I put a moster(custom modded) cooler on it and get stable core: 560mhz, mem: 1160(effective)

here's my cooler, and the fans i modded onto it. the sucker takes up 3 slots!

I removed the original fan and shroud and zip-tied two of these on. they're relitivly quite, put out good airflow but i bought 6 of these and a couple have a failing LED already...

I also tried to fit some thermaltake copper ramsinks on but the one heatpipe blocks half one chip so its just barly haning on that chip and occasionally falls off, lol...

EDIT: i kno u can t get the egg in argentina but this just shows u what i did...

according to techpowerup's database the R430 is the X800xl's core. No wonder y ur getting low clocks. however you maybe able to unlock the extra pipes with the sapphire x800xl AGP BIOS, the one for the 1.6 samsung mem too, here

i have no idea if the pipes r cut though. and i wouldnt quite kno how to tell if they are or arnt unlockable. there's supposed to be a way to tell in ati tool but i dont remember...

it shouldnt hurt nething if u install the x800xl bios and it doesnt unlock the pipes, or at least thats what ppl tell me, lol.

R430 (X800 XL cores) don't overclock very well, combination of the 110nm non low-k process and lower voltages. Your OC is the average OC for that core, though the memory might be able to go a bit higher.
