How's your luck with the bitspower adjustable aqua link pipe? I found that if I move the card too much (my fault trying to adjust it since I didnt put on the back bracket to the video card properly) that those fittings start to leak quickly. I had to tighten them down again and all has been good so far, just scares me from moving the cards at all.

I had them pre-sleeved in black, but forgot to check off the option to change the white 3-pin connector to black, so everything blends in nicely.
Anyway, because of his excellent help, and awesome customer service I got from FrozenCPU.com, I went ahead and ordered 9 more Gentle Typhoon AP-14 fans, and some other "goodies" to help this build along.
I've solved my temperature display issue. I've ordered an XSPC 5.25" Dual Bay Temperature Sensor Mount and 2 of the Blue Thermal-Star Illuminated Thermometers.
This should look sweet on the radiator stand ...

This will allow me to move over my Kaze Master Pro controller and 6 Gentle Typhoon AP-30 fans over to my other project build, "White Ranger".

I have the same temp unit but in green its a nice mod enjoy it.

Thread Starter
I woke up early this morning and decided to mess around with the build. Still waiting for some critical parts to arrive from FrozenCPU, which should be here Monday, so I will pretty much mainly be doing "Cosmetic Work" on her today (well, that and getting my other build, White Ranger) working under water.

My first attempt at putting the chrome tape on the MCP-655 pump to dress it up.

Not too bad for the bottom of the motor, which no one will ever be able to see when mounted ... but I'll know it's there.

Yeah, I think that will look nice when I sleeve the wires and mount the 2nd pump in the EK-Dual Top.

Speaking of the EK-Dual Top ... time to measure the distance between the 4 mounting holes on the side of the block.

Best to set up the drilling template nice and square like so the EK-Dual Top and 200mm reservoir will look nice when I mount it to the outside of the radiator stand.

The four mounting holes all nicely drilled, ready to mount the EK-Dual Top and Reservoir.

This is how it will look. Well, it still needs the 2nd pump and sleeving done.

This is why I am mounting it outside the Danger Den Radiator Stand ... So I can easily remove the current reservoir and pump and put the 3rd XSPC RX360 radiator in their place.

Well, time to see how the stock XSPC RX360 radiators look in a different color. Everyone does black, why be everyone? biggrin.gif

Time to mask up what we don't want to paint ... namely the actual radiator fins.

A quick trip outside with some primer.

Now to let that first cost of primer stand for an hour before I flip it over and do the other side.

I think I might go for a darker shade of blue, but I'm not totally sure. This will really "pop" against the black of the gloss black radiator stand, but it just might be a tad too light. Thoughts?

Yes, darker shade. Nice job though, coming along nicely. I may have to paint my PA120.3 now, I was just going to use some of that 3M Carbon Fiber vinyl I have left over from a different project on it, still may, lol.
47 knuck,is there any connection between radiator performance and the color of the radiator? They have always been black and I was wondering if it was for some technical reason,no matter how small.
