Yamakasi Catleap power brick failure

The power brick turns off and on over and over again and my screen is black and flickers on once every few seconds. I know its a power brick issue because the little green power light on the power brick goes off every time it happens. It has gotten so bad I cannot use the monitor at all. Anyone know of a replacement power brick for these things that isn't super expensive? I've already dropped $400 on this monitor even though the original cost was $309...

I have had the absolute worst luck with this monitor. First, my monitor had absurdly bad light bleed problems. I also wanted to replace the stand. So I took it apart and removed the stand. Unfortunately I bent a few prongs on one of the cables and the connector on the PCB. Fortunately for me Green-Sum sold me a new PCB for $75. I got it in the mail, repaired my monitor, and even fixed most of the light bleed by relieving some stress around the edges of the screen. But now the damn power brick is failing. Uggh F.M.L.

Also was wondering if this sounds like something I might be able to fix by opening the power brick? It still powers the display for a few seconds at a time. Could it just bee a wire that is loose or disconnected inside? Or perhaps some poor soldering? I would greatly appreciate any information that may save me from paying another $50 to get this thing working finally.

This is the case when it is useful to have multimeter. This is just $10 investment, but by checking voltage directly you can prove that power brick is indeed the problem (and not say the LED indicator on power brick). Also, are you aware of power bricks listed on Ebay for ~50$.

Do you still have the old PCB?

Mine is blown and I need parts?
