Is everything sealed properly? Sounds like it's trying to draw liquid and it's having air pockets created somewhere.

Yeah everything is sealed correctly, When i first started filling , doing the on off on off thing to fill the res it was taking the fluid albeit still making that noise. Still does it even when loop is full.

The only other thing I can recommend is doing an OC.net or google search. Whatever your pump is, type in "pump name clicking noise" or something of the like. You might find others have had the same issue and find a fix.

Initially thought air pocket but it sounds like the impeller isn't balanced or something... not entirely sure, sorry.

Yeah it does sound like the impeller is imbalanced or that there is something that is throwing it off balance every time you hear that sound. Check to see if you have something stuck inside. If you didn't flush your rad/blocks well enough, it's possible some gunk is stuck inside the pump.

Have you bled the system and tried it dry to see if it still makes that noise ?

Also use some distilled water in it first of all to see what it does with a lighter liquid,
