Looking for a quiet, 650w PSU for gaming

Thread Starter
Can you guys give some recommendations?

Thank you.
What's the specifications of your computer?
What's your budget?
Where are you able to buy from?

I would personally recommend the Corsair AX650. I have the AX750 and I have never heard it EVER. They are a bit pricey but the full modular design makes it really easy to work with and it is 80 plus gold. smile.gif Cheers hope this helps.

BeQuiet P10 Dark Power Pro 650w. Or maybe Enermax Platimax 600w.

Both are running in my parents computers. And I have never had any more silent units with active fans, than those two.

BeQuiet only have a 3 year warranty that is what put me off them.

I went with XFX as it is made by Seasonic and has a 5 year warranty.

That is incorrect, the P10 units from BeQuiet come with 5 year warranty and are currently the most complete products on the market, also superior to your Core 850W.

Corsair HX650 would fit the bill. Very quiet, plus great efficiency.

Not really, the new HX 650 is a useless product... 2x PCIe connectors on a premium 650W unit (!?), avoid it, there are many better products available.
