Strange monitor problem

I bought a Crossover 27q from dream-seller on eBay, and when I first connected it, it worked perfectly for a while, then I noticed some pixels flickering, and then suddenly all of the colors broke. Sometimes when I unplug it and plug it in again the colors go back to normal again briefly. It appears that nothing is wrong with the panel.



Anyone know what this is?

is your card overclocked? try putting it into the mobo port.

my card on any clock speed is doing this.
I don't think you can run 1440p off of the iGPU.

well that would be the difference between the monitor being the problem, the Graphics card, or the cable.

The graphics card has been running perfectly at 1080p for months now, so it's probably not that.

The monitor was really beat up by fed ex, and I'm starting to suspect that that was the problem. I hate Fex Ex.

Looks like it may have sustained damage during transportation. Definitely looks like a fault on the monitors side.

Yeah, it's definitely damaged. The box looks like it had been tossed down a mountain. I really hope dream seller puts insurance on his shipments.

Update:
I went down to Canada Computers today, and they tested the monitor for free. After a few minutes, the monitor started giving me the same errors as it had with my computer, and the DVI cable worked with another monitor, so I'm pretty sure it's broken at this point. Also, the guy told me that he had never seen a shipment that was that beaten up. I'm going to get Fed Ex to give me my money back on this.
