DDR400 is the fastest memory socket 939 systems use stock (200MHz is the system frequency by default). It will only limit you if you want to overclock your memory... you might not be able to get it much above 200MHz. If you only care about overclocking the CPU, you can just use a divider like boredom said.
Excellent choices on the Opteron 165 and DFI lanparty motherboard... they are literally the best of the best.
