I am still looking for a non grainy IPS monitor for my mac setup, I currently have a U2412M hooked up to my macbook pro 13" (2012 version). When doing design work it doesnt disturb me that much but when reading text and working allround in OSX the grainyness is kinda annoying...
So I am trying to look for a non grainy IPS monitor, I do not want the Apple Thunderbolt display because theres a fan inside the monitor wich is disturbing for me at night.
Basicly I am looking for a minimum of a 24" display. A 27" might be nice aswell but I am unsure if text is going to be smaller on such monitor compare to a 24".
16:10 or 16:9 I am quite unsure also, I have always used 16:10 on my monitors.
I hope someone can help me out,
