So, ive done some Google searching and cant find information on the performance comparison. ive been in the gaming scene for the better part of 2 years and am looking to upgrade to Intel regardless.
I have 2 choices:
1: Complete Mini-ITX build with a single graphics card
2: Upgrade my existing case to a normal ATX form factor with a single card or crossfire
Im confused on this micro stuttering thing since i havent been up close and personal to a rig with either SLI or Crossfire. How bad is micro stuttering? What does it look like on the screen? Is it really that much of a pain to even consider a dual card setup?
The reason im asking is because im not made of money and the second 6870 would be cheaper than to buy a single brand new card. Hopefully i can save with the build and buy some more games like BF3, Crysis 3, Diablo 3 and anything else that is modern and fun (possibly an Unreal game if a new one comes out soon
)
.
My build will consist of a 3570K CPU and a Z77 board in either of the 2 builds. Sorry for being a noob but we all have questions and want real world feedback.
Thanks guys.
