how many people here on OCN will play?
i'm wondering if its worth buying the game to play online on PC, since i heard that often it can be difficult to find an opponent and also that prices for cards in Ultimate Team are high, does anyone know if it was true in FIFA 12?

I never had a trouble finding a H2H match on 12, but then again I didn't make the higher divisons because a sync error prevented me from playing too many games. It was a major problem introduced after the Euro DLC, pretty much broke the game and EA never fixed it - fingers crossed it won't appear in 13. There was always a pretty good amount of players online (in the thousands), I imagine at launch finding matches won't be a problem at all.

As for UT, yes PC prices will be highest, you can check futhead.com for the current values. I hope more people play this year on PC. I already bought it, looking forward to the 25th.

I looked for a website like this one but I couldn't find anything...

Do you know if you can only play people from the same continent for example, like Europe in my case or is it people from all over the world?
Also does anyone know the cheapest place to buy FIFA 13 in the UK?

I'm not sure how matchmaking will work in 13, I heard from a forum post there was a geographic filter but I can't be sure about that. On 12 it was random and the majority of the time I was matched against Brazilians. Sometimes it was a bit laggy but that's what quitting out of the match in the first 5 minutes is for.

as far as cheapest place in UK, I would say green man gaming because they have 25% off coupon good until i think September 17th if you are looking to pre-purchase right away.

Thanks, I guess there are advantages and disadvantages to being able to play people from all over the world.
