What kind of ram to pick?

Thread Starter
Hey,
Im looking forward to pick a 680i sli board, with a e6300
but my main concern is about ram.
What compagny should i take.. lets say i would like 2 x 1GB ddr2 800 for ~ 300
I've always been told to take Kingston, or Corsair because they are well known... but i know that theres a lot more compagny than those 2..
if 'nyone could help me out pls ~

A.

Crucial's Ballistix DDR2-8000 and GIEL Ultra DDR2-8000 use the Micron D9GMH ICs which OC very well.
Sorry, I don't have the exact part # for you but here is a post on the GEIL.

Forgot the very fine OCZ EL PC2-8000 XTC

That is the actual chip type used on the ram sticks. Its one of the best for ddr2 just like the BH-5 was the god of ddr.

Crucial seems to have some very good ddr2 out these days that OC's very well. Though im personally fond of the Super talents myself!
