Question about the WMO

Hello, 


So I found a WMO in my closet. Plugged it in to try it but it seems to have an absurdly low malfunction speed.
I think that it's the original version, not the 1.1

Is that normal?

No, I took the mouse and plugged it in a USB port, that's all. It's stupid because I can't even browse OCN without the mouse malfunctioning.

Oh well that's strange. I've read about this happening on occasion on esreality. Some say it might just be faulty. From the bottom of your mouse, it seems legit (there are some comparison pics of real and fake WMO's on some chinese seller website: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=0.0.0.77.1c5b37&id=14782941148), but not sure if it's the latest. The ID X08 on the bottom suggests its new.

Actually it's a really old mouse, it belong to my father. I remember playing LOD with it 9 years ago.

x08 is 03-05 era. There's oddly no production date on your specific mouse.

x80 would suggest that its newer~

Mine is X-08, suggesting that it's 03-05 then. thumb.gif

Not even close, haha! 

I'd say that the malfunction speed must be around a third or a half of the G400 malfunction speed at 1800 CPI. I'll try to open the mouse later, maybe it's just dirty.
