Just beat Homefront.. Short but good. Anyone else?

So I had some down time on my days off and sifting through my closet I found some of my 360 games. Going threw the box I found Homefront and being bored of watching my wife play MW3 I popped it in and started playing.

I really enjoyed the story, but it was so short. I got around 800-ish Gamerscore on it in about 11-12 hours of gameplay. Finished the story first go-round in about 5. Had it been longer, would've been awesome. Multiplayer is okay too, although, mainly played for the story.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Yeah, it was actually pretty decent.

No, I keep passing on it during sales, just because while I think the story sounds/looks great, the gameplay just looks bland to me. Some have said it plays similar to CoD.

it plays like battlefield more then COD. the story line was pretty good but it was extremely short. me and my friend got it and played it at the same time, i think we both cleared the campaign in like 3.5 hours. online was pretty terrible when i had it (server issues on release)

Sounds better then, if it plays more like BF3. But I'd only be getting it for SP...is it worth the play or should I wait til it's even cheaper?

I finally got around to playing it over the weekend, I actually found it alright, despite everything I've heard. The story line was good, but didn't feel as though they projected it very well into the actual gameplay. Incredibly short as well, got to the end and said "Is that really it?" Finished in just under 4 hours frown.gif Would love to see sequel, or even a prequel that will hopefully be a lot longer, with more then just running and gunning.

It didn't feel like CoD at all. It was a solid SP game, and the MP feels quite like Battlefield in a sense. I enjoyed both.

Same here. I ripped through about 600-700GS in about 9 hours. Went threw the SP twice, once on normal, and once on Insane or whatever. However, I didn't have any online issues, that's weird.

Personally, I paid $20 for my copy. I feel that it was worth the bill, has some good replay value, and the MP kind of helps carry on to get your money's worth.

i would hope they dont have server issues anymore. when it was released for the first 2 weeks it was nearly impossible to get into a game and if you did it was laggy as hell. traded that game in like a month after release and it was only worth like 14 dollars lol. it bombed really hard.

I think I paid about $8 for it from steam. I enjoyed the game, but after finishing it in three hours, I'm glad I only paid $8.
