I'm having lots of trouble with folding

Thread Starter
When I install the console only version of f@h and i make it a service, does folding continue upon system reboot? because when I turn my comp back on, I can't use the console to check on how far I am. Also, why does the GUI version do work so much slower? Or is it a glitch? These problems are really keeping me from doing much folding at all, I have to reinstall every reboot.

Yes, it does continue folding upon system reboot.

You can use FahMon to monitor your status.

Take a look at this for help with using FahMon.

Do a file search for either

Fah502-console.exe
or
Fah504-console.exe

depending on the version that you downloaded.

The way I check to see if it's running is by bringing up task manager. I only have to glance at the Performance tab and my CPU usage is 100%. You can also look at the Processes tab, 2 FAH*** files will be running.

As far as which client to use, Fah504 is the latest but it's beta. I just switched to Fah504 and it seems to be running fine but so did Fah502. You don't know if beta's are going to be good or bad till you try them. If you don't like beta's, Fah502 is a solid program.

Another monitor program is EMIII. I like it better as it gives me more info.
