Which to get? RASA 750 EX360 or RASA 750 RS360

I've heard that some people have had issues with the RS360 pump making noise, and I haven't heard anything about that with the EX360 pump (a D5).

Is the pump noise a major issue with the RS360?

I mean you can get the RS360 kit for $150 as opposed to $280 for the EX360 kit.

This will be in a 24/7 Folding rig and the only thing it will be cooling is an i7 2700K CPU.

Thoughts?

They're the same pump dude, 750 lph. The difference between the two is the thickness of the radiator. The rx360 has the rx radiator which is like 60mm or something and the es is around 35mm, other than that they look identical on frozencpu.

Edit I see you put rasa ex360, not rx sorry. But I haven't seen the ex360 kit before...

Yeah, the major difference, from what I can tell is the pump and res. While technically the radiators are different too (EX360 vs RS360), they are nearly identical in size (121mm x 35.5mm x 395mm for the EX360 vs 121mm x 35mm x 397mm for the RS360).

The RS360 uses some sort of submerged pump that pushes out 750Lph and the EX360 uses a D5 pump that is attached to the back of the res and pushes out 1200Lph.

Ohhh the RAYSTORM ex360, not Rasa tongue.gif. I'd take the raystorm with the 655 pump for sure. If later you plan to cool other parts of your pc with water you're gonna want a stronger pump than the rasa kit. Also, the raystorm CPU block is better than the rasa. Hope this helps

Yeah, I guess you are right. I have had good luck with D5 pumps in the past, and may as well spend the money up front since this will be a 24/7 machine.

I just ordered it and hopefully it will arrive Wednesday. It came in at $296.96 with the Swiftech MCP655-B pump (like my other 2 on The Betty), a free KillCoil, and XSPC High Flex 7/16 x 5/8 White tubing (to match the case).
