I have smaller hands and claw grip. I use the Logitech G9x. Works great

If 3500cpi is enough for you, the CMStorm Spawn is a clawgrip no-brainer decision.
If 2000cpi is enough for you, the CMStorm Xornet is a clawgrip no-brainer decision.
I don't know much about their quality, but for the price you can get 2 in case one breaks and still be cheaper than those overpriced led-gimmick mice.

If you need more cpi, G9x is amazing for clawgrip.

So my G400 just came in.
First of all, they advertise a plug and play polling rate of 1000hz. I am only getting half of that, 530-533Hz.
2nd, the scroll wheel is hard as **** to press. I've never used a mouse that took so much force to press the middle mouse button.
3rd, the groove on the right side of the mouse makes the mouse completely unsuitable for true claw grip. If you are using a true claw grip that means your ring finger will be perpendicular to the table, and thus perpendicular to the line/groove on the mouse which feels unnatural.

Now onto the good stuff.
Even though I am a claw/finger tip user I can tell that the G400 is a much better palm grip mouse than the deathadder black edition in terms of comparability. It perfectly fits into your palm and the fingers lay perfectly on the buttons.
The left side of the mouse is perfect for the thumb and the side button placement is great.
The click feedback is great, the click is satisfying in both feel and sound.
The scroll wheel is plastic/rubberized but with a grip finish which makes it non-slip even with sweaty hands, similar material is also on the sides of the mouse.

I am not going to say anything about the movement aspect of the mouse because my surface is complete garbage.

Overall, I am not sure about the mouse. I was really looking forward to a comfortable claw/fingertip mouse. I might return it, but seeing as I only paid $20 I might keep it. I am still looking for a claw grip mouse though.

Commence hate posts.
