I have set up sharing in Mountain Lion to "Windows Sharing: On" in Sharing preferences.
And in Options it has the "Share files and folders using SMB (Windows)" checked
"On - Account Name" checked
I have set my Shared Folders to my media drives (Account Name - Read & Write, Everyone - Read & Write)
When I try to access the network on Windows 7 it asks me for my username and password and gives me a list of all of the drives accessible from Mountain Lion. (Not just the media drive I have set in Sharing)
I enter my username and password but I only have access to my Mountain Lion drive. (in HFS+ Journaled oddly enough.. I thought Windows wasn't able to see that file system?) Anyways, the Mountain Lion drive is not where I put my media because it isn't big enough for all of it.
When I try to access my media drives it says that I don't have permission to access the drive.
Soo, I am now pretty much stumped. The filesystem for my media drives is exFAT which is accessible by any new operating system (which is the reason that I am using it). Any ideas?
